# A bridge between Android and your receipt printer.

Set up the connection and paper once, then send jobs from another Android app, a website, the Share menu or a remote queue.

## Three ways to connect

The printer must understand ESC/POS and provide at least one of these connections.

### Network

Connect using an IP address and TCP port. Receipt printers commonly use port 9100, but check your model.

Detail: Wi-Fi or Ethernet

### USB

Direct connection using a cable or OTG adapter. Android asks for permission to access the USB device.

Detail: Android permission

### Bluetooth

Pair the printer in Android settings first, then select it in PosPrinterDriver.

## Four ways to send jobs

### Another Android app

Use ACTION_SEND or share content and, where supported, specify printer 1 to 5.

### A website

Open an explicit link that Android passes to the installed app.

### A server

Register the device with its linkcode and place the job in the remote queue.

### Share menu

Send text, an image or a PDF from compatible Android apps.

## Verified capabilities

| Area | Capability | Limit or condition |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Printers | Save up to five configurations | The documented remote flow uses printer 1 |
| Content | Text, images and PDF | Only the first PDF page is printed |
| Paper | 2, 3 and 4-inch profiles and custom width | Width and DPI must match the printer |
| Finishing | Logo, partial or full cut, cash drawer opening | Depends on the commands supported by the printer |
| Tests | Font, logo, code page and QR | The built-in test must work before integration |
| Startup | Print service and automatic startup | Android may apply battery restrictions |

## Check your model before deployment

> ESC/POS varies between manufacturers. A feature available in the app, such as cutting, drawer opening or certain characters, may not be implemented by every printer.

## Trial and licence

The app offers a trial limited by print count and subscriptions through Google Play. Check Google Play for current options and conditions, as they may change.

- We do not publish fixed prices outside Google Play.
- Purchases and renewals are managed through the user's Google Play account.
- Validate the printer and complete workflow during the trial.
