Android 5.1+ · ESC/POS · USB, Bluetooth and network

Print from Android.
Without struggling with every connection.

PosPrinterDriver is an app for Android 5.1 or later that connects your applications, websites and servers to ESC/POS-compatible receipt printers. Configure up to 5 printers over USB, Bluetooth or a network, send text and images, and convert the first page of a PDF for printing. You can test each connection before integrating, select the printer in supported workflows, and follow focused guides for permissions, character encoding, paper cutting, logos and remote print jobs. The documentation explains important limits to avoid duplicate or incomplete prints.

Before your first print

Which printers are compatible?

PosPrinterDriver is designed for receipt printers accepting ESC/POS commands. Actual compatibility depends on the model, connection and implemented commands; print a test before integrating.

Can I configure more than one printer?

Yes. The app stores up to five printers and lets you choose the destination number in supported Android and web-file flows.

Does it print complete PDF documents?

No. The reviewed version converts and prints only the first PDF page. Split multi-page documents or convert each page into a separate image or job.

Can remote printing select any of the five printers?

The documented remote queue delivers jobs to the main printer, number 1. The pn parameter must not be used to promise remote printer selection.

Which connection should I choose?

Network is often suitable for fixed workstations, USB for a direct stable connection, and Bluetooth for setups without a data cable. The best option depends on the hardware and environment.
